LUMS Entrepreneurial Society

LES is the largest student-based entrepreneurial society in Pakistan and seeks to encompass the LUMS spirit of growth and entrepreneurship by fostering leadership, business, and organizational skills.

The YLES legacy spans across 18 years, with a vision to inculcate within the youth of the time the skills required to progress into the entrepreneurial realm with an innovative, forward-thinking mindset.

YLES 14th Edition

Over the years, the YLES footprint has been mapped on an international level through delegate participation and corporate affiliations, setting a benchmark in the multitude of entrepreneurial events hosted by educational institutions in Pakistan. The 14th Edition played a critical role in launching YLES to a global platform.

2020

YLES 15th Edition

In light of the Covid-19 pandemic, the 15th Edition of YLES faced the unique challenge of being held in a completely online setting, with the YLES Host Team being dispersed across their home cities. This year hosted international delegations from UAE and Hong Kong, and completely revamped our flagship Investomania category, shaping it to what it is today.

YLES 16th Edition

A hybrid version of our flagship event was hosted during the latter time of the pandemic, with our Host Team being present on campus to execute an event in an online setting. This Edition focused on the expansion of local outreach within Pakistan, empowering young entrepreneurs to maximize the opportunities available from being stuck at home to harbor a forward-thinking, innovative mindset.

2022

YLES 17th Edition

Re-establishing the YLES brand, the 17th Edition set a new benchmark in the event’s legacy, redefining the narrative surrounding entrepreneurship in a post-pandemic atmosphere. With YLES returning to a physical setting, this edition once more saw the return of international delegations from UAE and the first of its kind international academic panel discussion held for the students.
